had my first day of driving last sunday. i was with my cousin, kat and with an instructor. it went on like this:
me: (driving around mayon area)
instructor: o, nasa kaliwa ka na naman. bat ba ang hilig mo sa kaliwa? mahilig ka atang MANGALIWA e.
me: (driving in a zigzag motion, sort of swerving)
kat: (ready to barf)
instructor: ayusin mo hawak mo ng manibela. lakas mo kasi mag-gas. bawasan mo.
me: (ignoring the instruction)
kat: (zZzZZZZ)
me: (stopped in the middle of an intersection getting horned from 4 directions)
fortunately, we reached the driving school alive, with no scratch and without hitting anyone. it was a crazy first day for driving. yesterday was much better but i still had problems controlling the manibela. parang kahit anong ayos ko dun sa manibela parang di na sasatisfy ung instructor. pinipilit nyang agawin at hawakan ung manibela at ayusin. ewan. now nafeel ko na ang convenience ng isang automatic na kotse. wala kang poproblemahin na clutch kaya di sasakit legs mo. kaso puros manual kotse namin kaya kelangan manual matutuhan ko. mas ok na driving ko ngaun. di na pa-zigzag. ka-buiset lang mag drive sa recto at quiapo.
