it's a hot day but finally summer class is over! i need a longgggggggggggg break. i'm looking forward to see star wars ep 3: revenge of the sith >> the last of all ep. i'm also looking forward getting out of manila; but s--t! just when i think it's all fun and unwinding stuff, in the midst of a relaxed feeling is a very uncalled for news. i just found out today that my best friend since grade 6 was diagnosed with carcinoma. carcinoma is a malignant tumor on the epithelial tissue and is a type of cancer. My friend said carcinoma is the lowest form of cancer, meaning it's the least dangerous. It really is a kind of cancer bcoz my friend's lymph nodes were hurting. the lump grew on her thyroid gland and she's still having doubts about having a surgery in june. if she undergoes surgery, she'll take artificial med. for the rest of her life and there may be side effects. it really sucks! too early, too soon for this to happen - and to my best friend!
